Question 2 – What motivates you?

The question ‘What motivates you’ is another top interview question that is asked most of the time. As this is not a technical question, you need to provide an answer related to what makes you feel motivated. 

For instance – you can share your achievements and accomplishments that made you motivated till date. Things like what makes you feel satisfied, any new skills, collaborations (if any), assisting people, instances related to professional growth, etc.  

While replying to such questions, make sure you stay genuine with your answers. Try to relate your motivation factor to what you can contribute to the company’s growth if get selected. 

Question 3 – What are your current job responsibilities?

Another common interview question for employees searching for a job is to communicate about their current job. Tell about your work profile, responsibilities, type of projects managed, and how you have contributed to the organization’s success.  Also, highlight what you have achieved in your role. 

Question 4 – How do you deal with work pressure?

Through this question, the employer wants to know if can you stand in a situation of work pressure. They want to know your potential to manage the work regardless of the complexity of the project. The caliber to stay calm under pressure is highly appreciated. 

You may need to elaborate on this question. To express, you may mention some strategies that need to be followed under work pressure. You can state strategies like prioritizing tasks, and maintaining open communication with the team and manager to keep work pressure organized. Lastly, you must be confidently saying that “I stay motivated and focused on goals despite of project complexities” 

Question 5 – How do you manage multiple projects?

Employers want to understand how much you are capable of working on multiple projects in a productive manner. They also want to know if you follow any strategy to manage and achieve success in projects. Make sure you describe all your previous project handlings including factors like time management, deadlines, communication strategy, adaptability, and achievements. Moreover, emphasizes how have managed the data-drive decision-making in previous projects. Also, highlight your expertise in project management tools. Considering these factors in your answers you will be able to demonstrate your potential to manage projects. 

Question 6 – What are your salary expectation?

Before you appear for the interview, you should know what is the salary range for hte position you are applying to. To check out the salary range offered by employer, you can see on a job posting site itself. If they have not menjtioned salary in the job post check platforms like Glassdoor or you can also connect people on Linkedin to know the range. 

Once you get an idea about the salary range, and PayScale meets your expectations, you can state – “I would expect a salary range between ‘the figure’ annually. However, i am focused on finding the opportunity that fits to my role. I am open to negotiations and can discuss organization’s overall package.”
